Meet Dr. Vanita Mudgil

Periodontist

Dr. Vanita Mudgil graduated from New York University with her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.  She completed a challenging one-year general practice residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital before returning to NYU for her specialty training.

After an extensive, three-year specialty program in dental implants and periodontics, Dr. Mudgil became a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Mudgil maintains the highest professional standards and stays up to date on advances in her specialty. She also enjoys educating future dentists: She currently serves on the faculty at Northwell Health. Dr. Mudgil is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontics, the North East Society of Periodontics, the New York State Dental Association, and the Nassau County Dental Association.

A thoughtful, gentle, and experienced clinician, Dr. Mudgil uses her expertise to improve each patient’s overall health, oral health and function, and smile.
